Taxi Service in Yardley
Our Yardley taxi service is built around the airport. We cover the 4 miles from Yardley to Birmingham Airport in about 10 minutes, and we also drive to Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and other UK airports.
Here is how it works. Book online with your address and flight details, get your confirmation by text or email, and your driver does the rest. We watch your flight live and meet you in arrivals with a name board when you land.
Our fleet is Mercedes-Benz: E-Class and S-Class for four passengers and two large bags, and the V-Class for seven passengers and six large bags. Tell us your party size when you book and we match the car.
We cover Yardley and the surrounding area, including Old Yardley, Yardley Green, Stechford. We also drive long distance to London, Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh and other cities. We are available 24/7, including bank holidays and Christmas.

Taxi Guide for Yardley: What to Know Before You Book
In this guide
Getting from Yardley to the airport
The airport is about 4 miles from Yardley, and the journey takes around 10 minutes. Your driver follows the A45 Coventry Road. Traffic on the main roads can build at peak times, so we allow extra time. The airport is busiest from 07:30 to 09:00 and from 16:30 to 18:00, so for a morning flight we suggest an earlier pick-up. Your driver checks live traffic before you leave and picks the quicker road on the day. Share your flight number and we plan the pick-up time with you.
How your pick-up works in Yardley
Your driver collects you from the address you give us, whether that is a home, a hotel or an office in Yardley. Many customers ask for Yardley village centre, and the driver meets you at the agreed spot. Tell us how many bags you have so the right car arrives. We track your flight, so a delay moves your pick-up and does not cost you a wait. On the way back, your driver meets you in arrivals with a name board and takes you to your door. Share a mobile number at booking so the driver can reach you.
Taxi, train or drive yourself?
Yardley has no direct train to the airport, so most people change trains or book a taxi. From Birmingham New Street the airport is under ten minutes by train, and the free Air-Rail Link takes you from Birmingham International to the terminal. That means a change and a walk with your bags. Driving yourself adds airport parking fees and the M42 at its busiest. A pre-booked taxi gives you one fixed fare, one driver and no changes. It suits families, groups, early flights and heavy luggage.
